REGULATION

Waste Carrier & Broker registration

The registration reference is: CBDU 74010 and you can view our registration online at:

However, most of the waste movements will be done by a 3rd party courier. These details will be made available on the individual Waste Transfer Note provided for each Collection Service.

Waste Permit Exemptions

Because we are not a general waste operation, processing all kinds of household and industrial waste, the Environment Agency grant us special ‘licenses’ known as Waste Permit Exemptions.

Our Waste Permit Exemption license is WEX483803 and you can view our registration online at:

We operate under exemptions: S1, S2, T4, T11 & T16

SERVICE

How do I use the service?

Begin by registering to create your online User Portal account.

If there are multiple people going to need access to the Portal, then you should register with a shared email account.

  1. Select the service you require from “New Request”
  2. Confirm your order
  3. Wait for your Order Confirmation screen to confirm success

What types of products do you accept for recycling?

  • Laser / toner cartridges
  • Inkjet cartridges with tank and printhead
  • Drum cartridges
  • Plotter printer / large format cartridges
  • Postage cartridges

What brands of printer consumables do you accept?

We accept all genuine Original Equipment Manufactured brands. You can also include remanufactured OWA versions.

Can I send you my printer to recycle?

No – printers and parts cannot be recycled as part of this service.

What is the process to have my recycling box(es) collected?

  • Please pack your printer consumables in an approved OWA or REVIALIS recycling box
  • Log in to your online account
  • Request the collection service
  • We will arrange for the courier to collect within 3-5 business days
  • Please ensure the box is placed near the main entrance and is easily accessible for the courier

If the collection is unsuccessful, the courier will automatically try again later that day or another day.

What happens to my printer consumables once you receive them?

  • All printer consumables are inspected, sorted and processed for recycling
  • Reusable products are supplied to remanufacturing facilities
  • Non-reusable consumables are recycled into raw materials
  • Non-recoverable materials are sent for thermal recovery

Can you refill my cartridges?

Although reusable cartridges can be refilled, we do not offer a refill service.

Can I use any box?

Please only use approved OWA or REVIALIS recycling boxes.

How soon can you collect my box(es)?

We operate a 3-5 working day turnaround and cannot guarantee next-day collection.

I do not have the original packaging. Do you still accept the printer consumables?

Yes, simply place the items into the recycling box and seal it securely with tape.

I have multiple collection sites in my organisation, how can I use your service?

You can register separate accounts or manage multiple addresses from one account.

Can I arrange two collections?

There is no limit to how many collections you request.

Can I arrange services on behalf of others?

Unless agreed with your supplier, third parties must register and manage their own services.

The courier did not collect my box!

The courier will automatically make another attempt.

What is a Waste Transfer Note?

A Waste Transfer Note (WTN) records the transfer of waste between parties and must be retained for at least 2 years.

Does a Waste Transfer Note prove I have recycled properly?

No. It confirms your Duty of Care declaration and that appropriate due diligence has been carried out.

Why can it take up to 20 days to get a Waste Transfer Note?

WTNs are completed after returned items are checked, verified, weighed and processed.

How can I change my password?

Log in and choose “Update Password” from the My Account menu.

How can I view my previous orders?

You can view order history from the Orders section.

How can I change my submitted order?

Please contact us as soon as possible to request changes.

How much does your service cost?

Generally there are no charges unless surcharges or penalties apply for non-conformance.
